KCMBC  Celebrates Bike Week

the Ride of Silence

Wednesday May 16, 2012

7:00 pm

the Ride of Silence will begin in North Americaand roll across the globe. Cyclists will take to the road in a silent procession to honor cyclists that have been killed or injured while cycling on public roadways.

This ride also helps to raise the awareness of motorists, police, and city officials that cyclists have a legal right to the public roadways.

We will gather at the entrance of the Trolley Track trail, 62nd and

Brookside, Kansas City at 6 PM. The procession will leave promptly at 7 pm. This will be a slow ride to gather attention.

System Change effecting all Family memberships:
With the merging of the two clubs, we have activated a system feature called Bundled. If you join as a Family membership level, the Bundle feature will allow additional family members to have their own membership account. This will allow them to:
  • Receive email announcements directly to their own separate email address
  • Log-in with their own Email address with all the access rights as the primary member(except membership renewals)
  • Recognition by the system that they are members and receive membership discounts when registering for club events under their own log-in

What we did:

As part of the merger process, we systematically added the second family members First and Last Name and created a membership account based on the information stored.

What we did not do:

We did not add the Email address for the second member as that was not a field stored on either club's system. The primary member (what the system calls a Bundle Administrator)  will need to enter this Email address in order to access the benefits listed above. For a step-by-step review of this process, please read the information under the tab below Membership titled "How to use this website".
