KCBC Annual Rides
KCBC WILL HOST THESE EVENTS FOR 2008.
These events are offered to all riders in the area. You do not need to be a member of KCBC to participate. The rides have multiple distance options so they would be suitable for the beginning bicyclist. Members of the Johnson County Bicycle Club receive “club member costs” for all the KCBC events.
SPRING CLUB RIDE & PICNIC

JAMESPORT DOUBLE NICKEL
Date: May 24-26, 2008
Comments: Memorial Day weekend. Registration is now open. Please go HERE for complete information.
FOUNTAIN TOUR
Date: June 22, 2008
Where: The ride starts from Rivermarket; 3rd & Grand, Kansas City, MO.
Time: On site registration opens at 6:30 AM with the ride starting 7:30 AM
Distance: 13, 20, and 41 mile routes available.
Comments: Not to be missed; enjoy the City of Fountains from your bicycle. Full SAG service and traditional KCBC “extra” goodies.
Cost: $20 for club members, $25 for non-members.

NORTHLAND NIGHTMARE (formerly Northern Delight)
Date: July 6, 2008
Where: The ride starts from Bennett Park; 1101 Lake Dr, Liberty, MO
Time: On site registration opens at 6:00 AM with the ride starting 7:00 AM
Distance: 20, 50, 62 and 100 mile routes available.
Comments: Always one of KCBC most popular rides discovering the hills of the Northland. Full SAG service and traditional KCBC “extra” goodies.
Cost: $20 for club members, $25 for non-members.

TOUR OF KC RIDE & PICNIC
Date: August 9, 2008
Comments: KCBC picnic and ride in conjunction with the Tour of KC. Details to follow.

SUMMER BREEZE
Date: August 24, 2008
Where: The ride starts from the Longview Recreation Center; 3801 SW Longview Rd. Lees Summit, MO.
Time: On site registration opens at 6:00 AM with the ride starting 7:00 AM
Distance: 45, 70, and 100 mile routes available.
Comments: Enjoy a ride on the gently rolling roads of southern Jackson County and Cass County. Full SAG service and traditional KCBC “extra” goodies.
Cost: $20 for club members, $25 for non-members.
